Restrictions for travellers due to the Corona Virus
Various countries have issued temporary entry bans or at least entry restrictions for various citizens.
Most embassies also do not issue a visa if the traveller has recently travelled to one of the following countries: China, Iran, South Korea, Japan, Germany, Italy, Spain and France.
Please note that new restrictions are currently being introduced daily and AVS does not have all the information from the embassies and the expected restrictions.

The tourist cards or entry tickets entitle you to stay up to 30 days in conjunction with a hotel booking. A one-time extension of another 30 days is possible in Cuba. As a rule, the address of the accommodation must be given on arrival and a valid health insurance for the foreign country (usually a private insurance) must be provided.
When entering Cuba, one half of the tourist card (also valid as a visa for Cuba) is removed and stamped, the other half must be carefully stored, as the second part of the card will be stamped on departure. On request, there is no entry and exit stamp in the passport, if you still want to have it as a souvenir, the passport will also be stamped.

Cuba is culture, nature, history, magic and traditions. The largest of the Antilles, it is the result of the mixture of multiple cultures, fusions of races and customs that resulted in one of the most unique and fascinating Caribbean destinations.
The people of Cuba will make your trip. Cubans are imaginative, hospitable, cheerful and unprejudiced. They have a clear and lively intelligence and enjoy jokes and parties. Share and enjoy the charangas, the parrandas, the carnivals, the local festivals and patron saint's festivities where you will undoubtedly have the opportunity to taste the typical Cuban gastronomy which consists of Buñuelos, Tamales and roast pork to name but a few. These are almost always accompanied by a good coffee, or a refreshing drink such as a Daiquiri, Mojito, Cuba Libre or Piña Colada.
The triumph of the Cuban Revolution marks a before and after in its history and for Cuba this meant the creation of new possibilities, turning its culture into one of the most prolific in Latin America. Cuba is renowned for dance, literature and practically any art form, be it theatre, cinema or visual arts.
You can travel to Cuba by either air or sea. The destination has 10 international airports and 15 national airports distributed throughout the archipelago; 4 cruise terminals and 15 international marinas complete the logistics infrastructure that facilitates Cuba's tourism.
