Travelers who have received the full dose (single/double, depending on use for all doses) of WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine may enter Bangladesh with the official vaccination certificate. An RT-PCR-based COVID-19 negative certificate is not required.
Travelers who have not received a full dose (single/double dose depending on vaccine) of COVID-19 vaccine may enter Bangladesh if they have an RT-PCR-based COVID-19 negative certificate within 72 hours prior to departure time. This applies to all persons 12 years of age or older. Individuals under the age of 12 do not need an RT-PCR certificate. However, they must comply with the same health formalities that apply to their family members upon arrival. Regardless of country of origin and COVID-19 vaccination, travelers with COVID-19 symptoms will be sent to a state-authorized hospital or facility for RT-PCR testing upon arrival. If the RT-PCR test result is positive, affected individuals will be isolated at their own expense in a government-designated facility or hotel. Another RT-PCR test will be conducted after seven days. Provided the test result is negative, the quarantine will be lifted. Quarantine will be ensured by the respective competent authority. Arriving passengers under 12 years of age are not required to have an RT-PCR negative certificate. However, they must comply with the same health formalities that apply to their family members upon arrival.
